TÜBİTAK Rail Vehicle Traction System Power Platform for Diesel Locomotives (TRACS-GP-D) is designed for diesel electric locomotives used in freight/passenger transportation and shunting operations.

TRACS-GP-DIESEL consists of a high-efficiency three-phase inverter for traction motor traction, brake resistor for DC bus voltage damping and auxiliary power units.
TRACS-GP-DIESEL provides efficiency and performance together with advanced field-oriented motor control algorithms.
TRACS-GP-DIESEL has been developed for 14 locomotives of 4 different types in total and the prototype was produced in TÜRASAŞ facilities with technology transfer after the prototype.
With TRACS-GP-DİZEL, systems previously procured from abroad have been designed nationally and commissioned, covering thousands of kilometers smoothly.
