The YERLİSİNYAL Project, carried out in collaboration between the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) and TÜBİTAK RUTE, continues to shape the future of railway signaling with local and national technologies.
Under the “Lalabel-Yerköy Project,” YERLİSİNYAL systems were commissioned at the Elmadağ, Kurbağalı, and Kılıçlar stations. Similarly, as part of the “Afyon-Denizli-Isparta Project,” Tugaylı, Sütlaç, and Evciler stations were brought into operation.
With this development, both the safety and operational efficiency of railway lines have been enhanced, marking another significant step towards modernizing Türkiye's railway network with local and national solutions.
Anatolia's Railway Traffic Entrusted to TÜBİTAK RUTE’s Signaling Systems: Number of Commissioned Stations Reaches 36
With six new stations commissioned in December, the number of stations utilizing YERLİSİNYAL technology has reached 36. This progress demonstrates Türkiye's gradual liberation from foreign dependency in railway signaling systems, achieving localization at international standards.
The project significantly contributes to building a safer, more efficient, and internationally compatible modern railway network for Türkiye. It also serves as a critical milestone in positioning Türkiye as a technology producer in the field of rail transportation systems. Efforts will continue unabated in 2025 to further advance the project.
