SAFELOOP

Projected battery demand of 735 GWh in electric transportation by 2025 and a forecast of 125 million electric vehicles (EVs) by 2033 is a driving force for innovation. But these promising developments are overshadowed by real safety concerns, such as two frightening ship fires involving luxury electric vehicles, despite adhering to the strictest safety protocols.

SAFELOOP is a collaborative initiative bringing together 15 organizations from 11 countries representing research, manufacturing and business across Europe. Transatlantic partners are joining forces to strengthen competitive technologies and supply chain logistics at the material level.
