As part of the EU-RAIL program, initiated by the European Union to advance railway systems and innovative transportation solutions, the Hyper4Rail Project aims to develop modern, digital, and sustainable transportation innovations.
The Hyper4Rail project aims to design a Hyperloop concept in line with the vision of the European railway sector, where the operational concept is determined, stakeholder requirements are met and all risk analyses are carried out. With the selected concept, the Hyperloop design will be tested in Europe's future multimodal transportation network with different uses and a business model analysis that produces economic results will be carried out using the results of this network study.
The technological readiness levels of the Hyperloop subsystems under development and the success of these technologies in meeting the requirements, the design of the subsystems, the identification of the existing and potential supplier network, and the approval of the technologies and prototyping will be the most critical phases of the project.
The project also includes the preparation of an industrialization roadmap required for the widespread use and integration of Hyperloop technology into our lives, a plan for the formation of authorities that approve, supervise and determine the safe use of the system, as well as plans for a demonstration and certification area where the closest model of hyperloop technologies can be built to real life.
Why Hyper4Rail is Important?
Hyper4Rail will play a key role in the EU's goal of making the rail sector more sustainable, efficient and innovative. As a leading platform in technology and innovation, it is expected to provide a competitive impetus to the sector.
Sharing the developments and results of the project with a wide audience will contribute not only to the achievement of the EU's research and innovation goals, but also to the transformation of railway systems on a global scale.
