TÜBİTAK RUTE, Turkey's leading R&D center in the field of rail technologies, participated in the 'Global Transport Corridors Forum' held in Istanbul, bringing together representatives from 70 countries.
The "Global Transport Corridors Forum", hosted by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu on 27-29 June 2025 at the Istanbul Congress Center, started with the opening speech of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. In his speech, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized the critical importance of the forum in the field of transportation for Turkey and the countries in the region and thanked the local and foreign participating companies for all their work, wishing that it would be instrumental in new collaborations.
Within the scope of the event, ministers and deputy ministers from more than 50 countries, senior public officials, representatives of international organizations and financial institutions, private sector representatives and experts in their fields came together and high-level meetings were held on the development of international transportation corridors.
TUBITAK RUTE Stand Draws Great Interest from Participants
TÜBİTAK RUTE met with visitors at the booth opened within the scope of the Global Transportation Corridors Forum. During the event, TÜBİTAK RUTE project officials introduced the domestic and national technologies they have developed in the field of rail systems and shared information about the ongoing projects.
At the booth, the Indigenous Engine, the first locomotive engine produced with Turkey's indigenous capabilities and engineering power, the Rail Infrastructure Monitoring System (RAIS) and its sub-components, the Train Control and Management System (TKYS) and Signaling Systems were presented to the visitors.
The fair was a critical meeting point for Turkey and the participating countries in the region in terms of new business partnerships.
