The high-precision ground motion monitoring and recording system, developed by TÜBİTAK RUTE with domestic know-how and technological capabilities, has real-time seismic parameter calculation capability.
With High Tracking CapabilityPreventing Losses
MEMS sensor accelerometers developed by TÜBİTAK RUTE have been developed to be used in early warning systems for the detection of landslides occurring near the rail line, measurement of train ride comfort, and rapid detection of seismic activity in order to increase safety in rail transportation.
Thanks to the YHIKS Project developed for İGDAŞ using these devices, it is aimed to interrupt the natural gas flow in the main transmission lines in the event of a possible earthquake in Istanbul, thus preventing natural gas-related explosions and fires during and after the earthquake and preventing loss of life and property.
The devices can calculate many seismic parameters such as PGA, PGV, SI, CAV in real time and send them to the Data Monitoring, Recording and Analysis Server developed by TÜBİTAK RUTE via the preferred communication interface (Ethernet, Fiber, GSM, etc.).
