SAFELOOP

Projected battery demand of 735 GWh in electric transportation by 2025 and a forecast of 125 million electric vehicles (EVs) by 2033 is a driving force for innovation. But these promising developments are overshadowed by real safety concerns, such as two frightening ship fires involving luxury electric vehicles, despite adhering to the strictest safety protocols.

SAFELOOP is a collaborative effort involving 15 entities from 11 countries, representing a blend of research, manufacturing, and business across Europe. Transatlantic partners are joining forces to bolster competitive material-level technologies and supply chain logistics.
