A project agreement was signed between TÜBİTAK RUTE and ASPİLSAN in order to move our country further in the field of lithium-ion battery technologies.
At the International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF) 21, agreements that will accelerate the defence industry and strengthen cooperation between institutions were signed one after another. One of these agreements was the "Development of Lithium Ion Battery and Subcomponents" project agreement signed between TÜBİTAK RUTE and ASPİLSAN. The project agreement was signed by TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, TÜBİTAK RUTE Institute Director Dr. Mehmet Ali Çimen, ASPİLSAN Chairman of the Board Necati TEKİN and ASPİLSAN Energy General Manager Ferhat Özsoy.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, President of TÜBİTAK, stated that TÜBİTAK is an authorized institution for both technology development and the use of infrastructure in the development of technology, and that the project launched is an auspicious initiative in the process of developing technology, which is TÜBİTAK's primary duty, and the productization of this technology by ASPİLSAN, an important stakeholder organization.
